The 50 anniversary of the House of Mexico in Paris
At the Cité Universitaire in Paris, international student residences feature the architecture of different nations, sharing a wide space of gardens and paths where cultural exchange takes place.
The House of Mexico in Paris has served this purpose for over half a century, in the meantime housing one of the most important libraries about Mexico in Europe.
In Mexico City, Providence, RI, Paris, France, 2003. a book was made to commemorate the 50 years of the House of Mexico at the Cité Universitaire. This book features the History of the house, its architecture and infrastructure, paired with essays on related subjects by some of the House's once-dwellers, most of them contemporary writers, artists and scientists.
