Typography projects

This section covers several exercises related to typographical subjects: drawing letterforms, to understand how the alphabetic characters descend from hand gestures and work in a system of corresponding features; several excercises for typographic compositions, in which the students explored the expressive potential of type, and the limits of legibility; and single and multiple pages layout design, in which complex documents with many elements should be handled.

Typography is about half of a graphic designer's job. It's a great source of form and composition knowledge. It is a profession on its own (and Typeface Design, an additional one), about which any designer should always know more than is needed. It can never be stressed enough how important it is to know the rules, to be able to further on break them--correctly.
